Only pay if eligible
At Alternaleaf, we understand that everybody has different preferences in how they manage their healthcare needs. That’s why we’ve launched Alternaleaf Membership.
For only £10/month, you can now spread the cost of your required appointments, while still accessing the same high level quality service our patients expect. This represents annual savings of up to £75
(for new patients).
Prefer to pay per appointment? No problem, we will still be offering pay-as-you-go style appointments at £39 per appointment. All aspects of your patient journey will remain the same beyond pricing, whichever scheme you opt for.
If medical cannabis isn't the right treatment, you won’t be charged.
Appointment Timeline
In the first year, a patient will have a total of 5 appointments:
One initial appointment, a follow up after 4 weeks and quarterly reviews every 3 months thereafter.
From the second year onward, patients will only need 4 follow-up appointments annually.

Frequently asked questions
We offer a range of over 100 different medications to suit all budgets. The price varies depending on the patient and choice of medication, but can be from as little as £20 per week. If you’re worried about the cost, our clinicians will work with you to build a treatment plan that suits your budget and individual needs.
You’re not alone. Many patients are worried that they may be rejected, not taken seriously or even judged. But we’ve got a really friendly team of experts who can guide you through the whole process.
Medical cannabis has been used to treat 50+ conditions, and we’ve treated over 150,000 patients globally. There’s also no need for a GP referral, and your initial assessment with us is risk-free, so if you’re not eligible, we won’t charge you.
You will be prescribed 1 month's supply, and you can order 2 repeat prescriptions, 1 per month. Every third month you will have a quarterly review to enable you to continue to receive your medication.

There is no cost for a repeat prescription. Please note that it does not include the cost of the medication.
Our clinicians are happy to discuss adjustments to your medication based on what is clinically appropriate for your specific condition. Our team of Alternaleaf clinicians are experts in treating patients with medical cannabis and will prescribe the brand and formulation of your treatment after a comprehensive medical assessment. We have access to a wide range of formulations, and your clinician will derive a tailored treatment plan to your personal situation and also monitor or adjust the medication on a regular basis.
